Build the North 2026

Build the North is Yukon Venture Angels‘ flagship two-day gathering at Mount Sima in Whitehorse for Northerners who care about building up here.
This is a chance to step away from your usual routine and instead spend time with a community of builders, operators, founders, tradespeople, investors, and practical problem-solvers who are shaping what comes next across the Yukon and beyond.
Expect structured networking, hands-on workshops, honest perspectives, and pitches no one else in Canada has seen.

​Saturday, June 6 Doors 9am | Programming 10am–5:30pm

• ​10 Yukon pitches with networking bursts, wrapping by 12:30pm

• ​Lunch and fireside chat with Klondike Kettle Corn

• ​Entrepreneur workshops from 1:30pm featuring GST basics with CRA, bookkeeping with Crowe MacKay, build your logo with Canva, customer journey mapping with Yukonstruct, dual use tech with Alacrity, and a pitch workshop with LiFt

• ​Office hours with Hettas, CRA, and others running alongside workshops

​Sunday, June 7 Doors 10:30am | Programming 11am–5pm | Firepit until 6pm

• ​National pitches and investor workshops alternating throughout the day featuring Edison Motors, Hettas, Kokopelli, LiFt, and more

• ​Investor workshops featuring Francophone market growth, rental property taxes, creative mortgages and REIT exploration, RESP investing, and M&A exits

• ​Firepit wind-down to close the weekend
