Why Yukon Venture Angels
Angel investing is easier than ever, giving people a choice beyond traditional investment avenues (like RRSPs or ETFs), and a chance to learn and invest locally and with purpose.
In 2017, Money Sense Magazine rated Whitehorse as having one of the highest percentage of disposable income cities per capita in Canada.
- Access to private capital is one of the most important ingredients to diversifying our economy by providing entrepreneurs the capital and mentorship they want and need to be successful.
Other small communities like Campbell River, and relatively remote regions like Northern Ontario have already built successful angel investment communities – and so can we!
