Resources for Founders

Yukon Venture Angels is making investing in the North easy through connecting people, providing tools, and improving deal flow.

For you, as an entrepreneur, founder, or venture, this means we are here to discuss your best options for funding – including whether you even need external funds! We will work to understand your business, financing stage, and end goals to provide the best options for you. This might be a course, a local pitch event, an ad on a business for sale site, an introduction to a service provider or, our favourite, a local angel investment!

We are excited and willing to discuss alternative financial structures at any time. If you have questions like:

  • How does Crowdfunding work and is it for me?
  • As an NGO, how can I take out a loan from my community?
  • How can my staff own equity in the company they work for?
  • How do I buy a local company and become an entrepreneur?
  • Is there a tech founder club where I can get mentorship?
  • Should I go on Dragon’s Den?

… then book a call with us! This is a free service

Yukon Venture Angels does not offer legal or financial advice. YVA is an NGO and is not operating on commissions, allowing us to be a neutral intermediary between companies and investors on all deal types.
